Apple And Google.
On Monday, a week after Reveal Windows 12, Microsoft released the first build preview of the software for people who participate in the Windows Insider program and gives people their first chance to try something new.
If you want to try it yourself, go to the Settings app in Windows 10 and select it in the Windows Insider Program section. Be warned: the software is still new and not tested in great detail, and it has some issues, which means you have to search for packages.
If you want to keep Windows bugs to a minimum, you shouldn’t upgrade yet.
Microsoft plans to release the windows 12 iso download update in detail later this year and next.
Here are the top seven fixes found so far in Windows 12:
- Start button. Moving the start button from the left corner of the open bar to the center can be a big change with icons for open apps and installed icons on the taskbar. The change takes some time to practice. Intuitively, you want to move your mouse to the left and nothing will happen after you do that and click near the edge of the screen. But for those with wider computer monitors, the new location will be easier to reach. If you move the Start button to the left, you’ll find it under Options Settings > Personalization > Taskbar.
- Start menu. In Windows 10, the things you installed in the Start menu are done. Instead, you’ll see a group of apps under the Pint heading. Some will appear there automatically and you can remove them from the start. To avoid having trouble recreating the set of programs you saved to the Start menu in Windows 10, take a screenshot before upgrading to Windows 12. The Start menu also highlights the recommended area with recently accessed programs and files.
- Keyboard. Windows 12 is a full-featured on-screen keyboard that includes emojis, GIP, a clipboard, word suggestions, handwriting recognition, and the ability to design a custom theme. Some Windows 10 on-screen keyboard features are missing, including the ability to display a number pad.
- Configuration. Microsoft has redesigned the Settings app, adding widgets to display a couple of devices, a key link to change your computer’s name, and the way you view subfolders. Also, the train of options on the left doesn’t change as you move from area to area as it did before, making it easier to navigate. There are also six wallpapers to choose from. The menu options have some New Namessections. When you reconnect an external monitor, the operating system remembers a new option where the windows were previously located.
- Dynamic update rate. A New Option If you are using a Windows 12 laptop, it will help extend your battery life. Many laptops have a refresh rate – of 60 Hz per second to display a new image. Dell, HP, and other PC makers are releasing laptops with up to 120Hz with high refresh rates, which can help with other features like gaming and drawing. But running faster uses energy faster. If you have a support device, you can enable the new Dynamic Update Rate system which can override the setting for less important situations like reading emails.
- Fixed touch gestures. Microsoft is taking touch gestures that people can use on trackpads in Windows 10 and displaying them. The experience is like using a tablet with a touchscreen computer. Apple’s iPod, and further distinguishes Windows PCs from Apple Macs which aren’t available with touch screens. A three-finger swipe shows apps and desktops in task view. When you swipe down, the desktop appears. Swiping left or right transfers you to a recently used app window. Flicking left or right with four fingers allows you to switch between desktops.
- Create window sets. Windows 12 makes it easy to organize two or more app windows that you want to use at the same time. Develops the ability to snap windows to the left or right side of the screen in Windows 10 and customizations for Android as displayed on the Surface Duo, Microsoft’s two-screen smartphone. Move the Zoom button on an app and you’ll see options to arrange two, three, or four windows. Click anywhere on the screen that you want to use for the current window, and then select Other parts of the screen for other windows. After arranging your windows the way you want, you can quickly go to the taskbar and access your set of windows. If you open the others, you can return to the bundle by hovering over the icons of the apps included in the bundle.
Some of the key features of Windows 10 are missing from this first preview build: Android apps and taskbar integration with groups. windows 12 64bit download will come later.
